KUCHING, April 19: Several areas in Sarawak may experience thunderstorms by 5pm today, says the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
In a notice posted on its social media page at 2.30pm today, the weather forecasting agency said thunderstorms may hit Kuching, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang.
Such a warning was issued due to signs of thunderstorms with rain intensity exceeding 22mm/hr that are expected to occur for more than an hour. — DayakDaily
