KUCHING, March 19: It was a memorable iftar for 30 individuals from six selected underprivileged Muslim families by HOPE Place Kuching when they were feted to a scrumptious buffet by Imperial Hotel Kuching in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the press statement circulated to reporters yesterday (March 18), the breaking of the fast was part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) in collaboration with HOPE Place Kuching.
During the programme, each individual also received ‘duit Raya’ presented by the hotel’s general manager, Patrick Kuek.
The hotel’s Social and Recreation Club (SRC) also handed each family a bag of daily food essentials.
The hotel also extended its appreciation to Cat City Holidays Sdn Bhd for sponsoring transportation for the families. — DayakDaily
