KUCHING, Jan 10: A tyre exploded while air was being pumped into it, injuring one man at a car workshop located at Demak Laut on Friday morning.
The incident happened around 8am when the victim was checking the lorry’s tyre pressure.
It was said that while the air was being pumped into the tyre to check for leakage, the tyre suddenly exploded and the shock from the explosion knocked the victim into a pillar at the workshop.
He was sent to the hospital for immediate treatment. —DayakDaily
