MCC demolishes three illegal street stalls at Tamu Maigold

MIRI, March 12: Three illegal street stalls at Tamu Maigold, Senadin were demolished by Miri City Council (MCC) enforcement team in an operation today.

In a statement, MCC disclosed that these stalls were found conducting business without permits from the Council.

During the operation, the enforcement team also confiscated another stall and subsequently retained it at the Council’s premise.


The operation involved logistics team and truck from the Council’s Public Cleansing and Maintenance Department (PCM) and Council’s LA Serve Mobile Unit to regulate traffic flow during the operation.

The operation was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Cleanliness By-Laws 1999 and it took an hour to complete without any untoward incident. — DayakDaily
