KUCHING, May 24: Miri City Council (MCC) is organising a two-day MCC Carnival from May 26 to 27 (9am to 7pm) at Level 1 (Ground Floor) of Miri City Hall in conjunction with its 17th anniversary.
Mayor Adam Yii will be attending the official launch of the carnival at 10am which is also the highlight of the 17th Miri City Day Celebration on May 26.
Other programmes lined up include a food fiesta, Fabulous Mom Contest offering attractive prizes, fun fair and games, ‘Roll To Get Cash’, Zumba performance, karaoke session and Sepetang Bersama V Toress live music and singing performance.
MCC’s Rating and Valuation (R&V) Department is the carnival’s lead organiser.
Meanwhile, in view of the due date for MCC assessment bill payment on May 31, the R&V Department will give away limited edition ecobags to those making payment on May 26 and 27 while stocks last. — DayakDaily
