MBKS to open counters for assessment bills payment on May 27–28

KUCHING, May 23: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) will open payment counters at the council’s headquarters at Jalan Padungan here to facilitate assessment bill payments on May 27 and 28. 

The counters will be open from 8am to 4pm on Saturday (May 27) and 8am to 12pm on Sunday (May 28). 

Assessment bill payment for the first half of 2023 is due on May 31, 2023, while the payment for the second half of 2023 is due on Oct 31, 2023.

In a media release today, MBKS disclosed the payment counters will accept payment via credit card, debit card as well as SPay Global. 

Ratepayers may also utilise various e-payment channels to pay their bills including via PayBills Malaysia, JomPay, HSBC, CIMB Click, Standard Chartered, Bank Rakyat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Maybank2u, Bank Islam as well as SnapNPay mobile app.

Alternatively, payment can also be made at UTC Kuching’s Sesco counter which only accepts payments via cash and cheque. — DayakDaily
