KUCHING, Jan 28: Miri City Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang calls on the people of Miri to utilise the Miri CARES mobile application to voice their opinions, complaints, suggestions and services improvements to the Miri City Council (MCC).
According to Yii, Miri CARES is another initiative to make the voices of the Rakyat heard and registered, as it is registered electronically in the system server, which would facilitate search, queries as well as data analytic.
“The introduction of Miri CARES allows the voices of the rakyat to be channelled to Miri City Council directly, including allowing them to be informed of any updates. They could also track the case as when necessary,” he said during the launching ceremony of Miri CARES which was held online, today.
Yii noted that the launching of Miri CARES does not mark the end of the Miri Smart City program, rather it is the beginning of the implementation of a series of modules.
“Beyond this, other software applications will also be launched progressively in time to come,” he added.
On the same note, Yii said in conjunction with the soft launching of the Miri CARES and as an appreciation to the participants, prizes will also be awarded to the participants who have contributed the best inputs through Miri CARES software applications.
He explained that the general public can find out the details through Miri City Council website including the rules of the participation.
The Miri CARES is available for download at the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery. –DayakDaily.
