SIBU, May 26: The Covid-19 vaccination drive in Sibu, Kanowit and Selangau scheduled on May 28 has been postponed to May 30 due to the delay in the delivery of vaccine supplies.
The Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) Sibu Division, in a statement today, however informed that recipients getting their second dose of vaccines scheduled on May 29 will not be affected by this latest change.
CITF Sibu Division thus advised affected recipients who have their appointments this Friday to be aware of the new date of vaccination.
Recipients are also advised to answer calls and give their feedback when CITF Sibu Division, Kanowit District Office and Selangau District Office contact them on the matter.
Meanwhile, the vaccination centre for Sibu is at the Indoor Stadium, while Kanowit is at the Kanowit District Office and Selangau at the town’s multipurpose hall.— DayakDaily
