Matta Fair back on June 28-30 at Emart Riam Miri

MIRI, June 20: The 4th Miri Matta Travel Fair will be held from June 28-30 with attractive travel packages and a sales target of RM3 million, which is double that recorded in 2018.

All 40 booths have been booked for the event that will be held at Emart Riam Miri.


The participating agents are Hong Tai Travel Agency Sdn Bhd, Khaimal Travel and Tours (Borneo) Sdn Bhd, Airworld Travel and Tour Sdn Bhd, Brighton Travel and Tour Sdn Bhd, Sak Soon Travel agencies Sdn Bhd, Sentiasa Travel Services Sdn Bhd, Multiclients Travel Sdn Bhd, Transworld Tour Sdn Bhd, Andalusia Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd, Travel and Tour Centre (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, Borneo Exploration Tours and Travel Sdn Bhd and Inter Continental Travel Tourworld Travel (M) Sdn Bhd.

It is organised by the Malaysia Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) Sarawak Chapter, and Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Lee Kim Shin is scheduled to launch it on June 29.

“The fair will not only be promoting inbound and outbound travel packages but also provide amazing opportunities for exciting holiday packages, flight offers and many more,” said organising chairman Wilson Chiam Tak Chee at a press conference today.

This year, Royal Brunei Airlines will be sponsoring air tickets to Dubai, Taipei and Narita for the lucky draw session, announced RBA senior sales executive Wendy Chong.

But the lucky draw contest is reserved for Malaysians only.

“Those (customers) who purchase any travel package worth RM1,000 are entitled to the lucky draw,” explained Chong. — DayakDaily
