MASwings increases flights into Limbang to meet school holiday, Gawai demand

KUCHING, May 23: MASwings is mounting additional flights from Kuching and Miri into Limbang from May 27 to June 7 for the Hari Gawai Dayak celebration.

According to MASwings in a statement today, the additional flights aim to meet the demand for seats during the coming school holiday break.

MASwings chief operating officer Captain Nasaruddin A Bakar said the demand for flights on these routes during the Hari Gawai Dayak season has been high historically, and this year will be no exception.

“We anticipate that with the longer weekend which coincides with the school holidays, the demand to be even more than the previous year especially now as we are entering the endemic phase with ease of travel domestically,” he said.

He added these additional services will be operated on MASwings ATR72 500 aircraft and the “Harvest Fiesta” offers are as low as RM139 only for an all-in-one way ticket, whilst seats lasts.

The extra daily flight into Limbang (LMN) from Kuching (KCH) and Miri (MYY).

All MASwings tickets are inclusive of 20kg of check-in baggage and light refreshment, as part of the airline’s consistency to offer comfort to each passenger during travel.
