Maritime enforcement holds campaign to top up Bintulu Hospital blood bank

KUCHING, March 30: Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) held a blood donation campaign to benefit Bintulu Hospital this morning.

“The purpose of the campaign is to overcome the shortage of blood in the hospital blood banks during the MCO (movement control order),” MMEA Bintulu director, Maritime Captain Shahref Steve Mac Queen Abdullah revealed during the campaign at the hospital.

“Through the campaign, MMEA wishes to help the hospital increase the amount of the blood for the hospital.”

Shahref Steve urged the public to stay at home to prevent the spread of Covid-19 from getting worse.

During the campaign, Covid-19 safety and awareness measures were also shared with the public. Social distancing and hygiene measures during the campaign were also being practiced. — DayakDaily
