KUCHING, August 5: An IT/business support manager claimed trial to 14 charges of criminal breach of trust.
The accused, from Taman Riveria, was charged at three different Sessions Courts today. He pleaded not guilty to all fourteen charges.
Pre-trial case management is fixed for September 5 and the accused was released on court bail of RM2,000 with two local sureties.
He was charged as an employee in the capacity of an IT/business support manager of Coramax Mall Sdn Bhd, for committing breach of trust in respect of the collection money amounting to a total of RM40,9664.79 between November 12, 2017 and November 12, 2018 at Vivacity Megamall Management Office.
He was charged under Section 408 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of between one year and fourteen years and with whipping, and shall also be liable to fine.
DPP Ruthra Raj, DPP Nurfadzlin Mahmad Zulhasnan and DPP Nor Azhari Yusof prosecuted at the three different Sessions Courts while the accused was represented by Counsel Norman Liew. — DayakDaily
