KUCHING, July 11: A 25-year-old man with a criminal record was arrested again after a total of 5.1 grammes of Methamphetamine was found in the suspect’s bag.
The arrest was made at 11.30pm when the police saw the suspect acting suspiciously on a motorcycle beside the road of Jalan Blacksmith, Bau.
According to Bau District Police Chief DSP Poge Nyaon, the police later checked the suspect and found eight transparent plastic bags with crystalline substances believed to be Methamphetamine in the suspect’s bag.
The suspect later tested positive for Amphetamine and Methamphetamine and will be remanded by the police for further investigation.
The suspect had a criminal record and will be investigated under Section 39A (1) and Section 15(1)(a) Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.—Dayak Daily
