MIRI, Aug 2: Enraged after his demand for cash was refused by the mother, a 22-year-old man ran amok at their home in Permyjaya.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the 3pm incident on Wednesday.
Terrified with her son’s aggressive behaviour, the mother, who was in her late 40’s, has lodged a police report.
However, no arrest has been made as the police are still investigating the incident.
According to the report, it is understood that the unemployed suspect ran amok inside the house after the mother, who is working as a security guard in a supermarket in Tudan, refused to give him money.
The mother also suspected her son to be involved in drugs.
Sources said this was not the first time such incident had happened, as the man would run amok everytime his demand for money was rejected. — DayakDaily
