KUCHING, Sept 3: A jobless man claimed trial to three charges of drug possession in the Kuching Magistrates Court today.
Lim Jin Xian, 23, from Jalan Rock, pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
Magistrate Mohd Syukri Mokhtar fixed Sept 24 for pre-trial case management.
Lim was charged with possessing 3.12 grammes of 3,4 Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), 2.65 grammes of ketamine and 0.11 grammes of methamphetamine in front of a house in Batu 7, at about 5.45am on July 20, 2019.
He was charged under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which is punishable under Section 12(3) of the same Act, which carries a fine not exceeding RM100,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years, or to both, upon conviction.
