KUCHING, Aug 11: A 57-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after losing control of his vehicle and falling into a drain at Jalan Kampung Nangka, Kota Samarahan this evening.
The police received the emergency call at 6.20pm and deployed a team to the scene.

According to State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, the deceased was heading towards his home from Kota Samarahan when he lost control of his motorcycle and fell into the drain.
The deceased was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Sarawak General Hospital.
The case will be investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
