SIMUNJAN, Sept 29: A man was killed in an accident that occurred along Jalan Simunjan here today.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), firefighters from the Simunjan station were deployed after receiving a call at 5.45 pm.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved two vehicles—a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle and an oil tanker truck.
The victim was found trapped inside the 4WD vehicle and was later pronounced dead at the scene by personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The operation team carried out a rescue operation and extricated the victim from the vehicle using a stretcher.
The team then handed the victim over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
