KUCHING, July 17: A man who lives at Lorong 16, Jalan Stampin here, has been living with contaminated water supply since March this year.

The man, known as Lim, had to cope with the dirty water supply every day for four months.

According to Michael Kong Feng Nian, special assistant to Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen, he had forwarded the matter to Kuching Water Board (KWB).

“Upon receiving information on the matter, we forwarded the info to KWB and are glad to note that immediate action has been taken to flush the water pipe,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday (July 16).

He further said that he might not have been elected to represent the Kota Sentosa constituency, but with politics being a long journey, he remarked that DAP is the only Opposition party that continues to serve the people. — DayakDaily
