MIRI, Oct 30: Three members of the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) rushed to a house in Bandar Baru Permyjaya shortly before midnight on Monday when the alarm was raised that there was a two-metre-long python in a chicken coop.
The trio arrived at 11.46pm, and spent barely 10 minutes to catch the slithery one.
Earlier, the 64-year-old owner of the house had rushed to check on his chicken coop when he heard a loud noise coming from the area.
Upon close inspection, he saw a python among his petrified chickens. He immediately called APM for help.
When the APM personnel left, the sexagenarian started counting his chickens. It did not tally — one was missing. — DayakDaily
