KUCHING, April 11: A 34-year-old man is feared to have drowned after falling from the Tun Salahuddin Bridge in Petra Jaya here today.
According to a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) spokesperson, an emergency call was received at 9.29am and firefighters from the Padungan station were deployed.

“A call was received from the MERS 999 line on the incident, with the person who made the report saying the victim had fallen from the bridge.
“Upon arrival, a Bomba control post has been activated,” said the spokesperson.
The victim was identified as Haffiz Abdullah Sapwan. — DayakDaily
