MIRI, July 24: A man in his late 30’s and his male friend sustained bodily injuries after they were beaten up over for allegedly stealing three pet cats.
The attack reportedly occurred around 5am on July 22 (Sunday) at Taman Jade Manis.
A police report over the attack was lodged later that day.
According to sources, prior to the attack, the duo was confronted by the cats’ owner who accused them of stealing his pets and a cage.
During their conversation, an altercation broke out between the them.
After the attack, the owner fled the scene leaving the two groaning in pain. — DayakDaily
