MIRI, Jan 10: Five adult goats were reported missing from their pen at Batu Telingai, Suai Niah last Friday.
After receiving a report on the missing goats estimated to be worth around RM5,000, police have arrested a local man aged 22 to assist their probe into the case.
Police are still tracking down the suspect’s accomplice.
The goats’ owner, a religious teacher of a religious school, lodged a police report on the incident after discovering five out of his nine goats kept inside the pen missing on Monday (Jan 7) around 8am.
According to sources, the suspects were seen carrying away the goats from the pen using a motorcycle. — DayakDaily
