KUCHING, Aug 18: A 22-year-old suspect was arrested for having drugs at a house at Jalan Krokong, Kampung Bidi, Bau on Monday afternoon.
The arrest was made at 12pm when the police raided the house.
According to Bau District Police Chief, ASP Poge Nyaon, the suspect handed out a small transparent packet with 0.3 grams of drugs believed to be Methamphetamine. The drugs were held in the suspect’s right hand when the police raided the place.
The suspect tested positive for Amphetamine and Methamphetamine. He had no previous criminal record.
The suspect will be remanded and investigated under Sec 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.—DayakDaily
