KUCHING, Sept 16: Malaysia will see better and happier days once a wise and able top leader emerges after the coming 15th general election (GE15), says political pundit Dato Peter Minos.
In conjunction with the 59th Malaysia Day celebration today, he said the worst was behind us, and brighter days are ahead, especially when the nation turns 60 next year.
“Now that the perpetrators of the 1MDB scandals are being properly handled by the courts, the religious, racial extremists have died down, and Sabah and Sarawak aspirations are being looked into, and Malaysia will recover.
“Malaysians are resilient and able in handling anything. Once Malaysia has a good, wise and able top national leader hopefully after the coming GE15, Malaysia will see and meet better, happier days.
“Covid-19 pandemic is almost over now. Malaysian industries, agriculture, exports and all other things will rise up. I’m very sure of this,” he said in a statement today.
If not for the unwanted events that he mentioned, Minos said Malaysia would have been a nation that is worthy of its people’s respect and love.
He said Malaysia has always been able to thrive through challenges since 1963, and it will continue to do the same in years to come. — DayakDaily
