KUCHING, July 30: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg yesterday (July 29) accompanied Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to visit the nomination centres in the Selayang and Ampang constituencies.
In a Facebook post yesterday, Anwar said Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and Barisan Nasional (BN) Secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir were also present.
“After finishing the event in Gombak, I, together with the Premier of Sarawak, Chief Minister of Sabah, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, went to Selayang and Ampang to show support for our candidates there,” he said.
Anwar also expressed relief that Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional supporters’ spirits remained strong in continuing and strengthening the wave of unity in Selangor. — DayakDaily
