KUCHING, Sept 22: Malaysia’s favourite comedic quartet, the Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC) will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary with a MACC Goodbye Tour 2019 at Kuching during What About Kuching (WAK) 2019.

A statement from WAK organising team today said the tour will be in Kuching on October 12, 2019 at 8pm at the Chemsain Auditorium.

Tickets can be obtained at RM80 for the front row and RM70 for mid to back row seats. They can be purchased by contacting Kim at 012-8086262 or visiting website www.maccmaniax.com.

MACC’s Kuching stop is managed by Jom TEH! (Talents by Event Horizon) which aims to bring comedy into Kuching as a way for people to destress from their normal life.

In addition to the show, the featured comedians would also be sharing about life behind the curtain and stories that they never brought to stage. They will also be taking questions from the audience.

This sharing session will be held on October 13 at The Food Lounge, The Hills Mall, and entry fee is RM10 per pax. Reservations can be made by containing Kim at 012-8086262.

Having brought laughter to all of Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia with 100 per cent new jokes, the MACC’s  foursome are bringing their A-Game and will perform one last time together before pursuing their solo careers.

MACC is made up of Douglas Lim, Dr Jason Leong, Kuah Jehan and Phoon Chi Ho.

This is Jom TEH!’s fourth year in bringing in stand-up comedy. For last year’s WAK, they brought in the sold-out show Angry Indians, who performed alongside local boys from SaraLawak.

Jom TEH! can be found on Facebook at ‘jomtalentsbyeventshorizon’ while MACC is at ‘MACComedians’.
