MIRI, Aug 25: A male duo aged 17 and 28 respectively were picked up by the police early this morning to assist a probe into a motorcycle theft case and a house break-in case.

According to sources, the suspects were picked up at two separate locations in Kampung Lusut during an operation held between 3am to 4am.

The operation was led by Inspector Fredly Juing.

One of the suspects led Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel to bushes along the Miri-Bintulu road where they discovered and retrived a motorcycle frame, believed to belong to a motorcycle reported missing in April.

Both suspects are currently being detained by the police at Miri Central police station (CPS) for questioning.

The duo were also suspected to be involved in a house break-in which occurred earlier this month at Ocean Park. — DayakDaily
