SRI AMAN, Aug 19: Residents in Skrang, Engkilili will be experiencing disruptions in water supply or low water pressure from 8.30am to 5pm this Saturday (Aug 21).
The Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Sri Aman Division said this was due to maintenance work being carried out by Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) which would affect the electricity supply on the day.
“Skrang Water Treatment Plant will have to operate at a minimum rate by using a genset throughout the maintenance period,” it said in a notice today.
Consumers are thus advised to store sufficient water for daily use before the water disruption while the authorities ensure that water supply is resumed as soon as possible in stages.
JBALB Sri Aman extended its apologies for any inconveniences that it may cause during the period. — DayakDaily
