KUCHING, Jan 9: Sarawak People’s Aspiration Party (Aspirasi) president Lina Soo calls for the people of Sibu and Sarikei to give the newly unveiled Aspirasi Angel’s Janet Loh, Jess Lau, and Josephine Lau the mandate as the people’s voice in the coming state election.
Soo, in a statement today said the three women Josephine Lau (Dudong), Janet Loh (Pelawan), and Jess Lau (Meradong), dubbed as the “Aspirasi Angels” are the three potential candidates who will be contesting under the party’s butterfly symbol.
“They can do so by sending them to the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) to be the people’s voice in making our demand for an independence referendum to let our people decide our own political, social and economic future. Sarawak is for Sarawakians,” she said.
Soo noted, the first candidate, Josephine Lau who is 50 years of age, is multilingual and fluent in Iban, Chinese, English and BM, and married with one son and three daughters.
She continued, Janet Loh is a 52-years old woman, who hails from Sibu and is a holder of the Diploma in Higher Accounting, who is trilingual in Chinese, English and Malay languages and she is married with 2 daughters.
“For Jess Lau, who is a 61-years old woman, she will contest in Meradong in Sarikei, and speaks Chinese, English and Malay with accounting background experience,” she said.
Soo also pointed out that all three potential candidates are high-powered ladies with great success and proven track record in a multinational marketing company.
She said the three ladies are also very committed and dedicated to the pursuit for Sarawak’s independence and sovereignty.
“Having gone to the ground for a few years to campaign for Sarawak Self-determination in the Rejang basin, these ladies will carry the Aspirasi butterfly symbol for hope, change and transformation,” added Soo. –DayakDaily.
