KUCHING, July 15: Lawas returned to green zone status today after zero new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the district in the past 14 days.
According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today, with the addition of Lawas, there are now two such green zone districts in Sarawak.
Meanwhile, Asajaya also improves its status from orange zone to yellow zone, joining 13 other districts, after reporting only 20 new Covid-19 cases in the last two weeks.
At the same time, Beluru fell into orange zone status from yellow, following recording 23 new Covid-19 cases in the previous fortnight, bringing the total number of orange zone districts to four.
As of today, twelve districts retained their red zone status. — DayakDaily
