SIBU, March 18: An odd job labourer has been charged at the Sessions Court today for attempted murder on a 16-year old youth.
The 25-year-old accused was charged under Section 307 of the Penal Code.
The offence provides for an imprisonment for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.

He was accused of committing the offence at 8.30pm on March 3, 2020 in a rented room in Jalan Hua Khiew by attacking the youth using a machete.
Justice Stella Augustine Druce denied bail for the accused.
She also ordered that the accused be present in court on April 21 for case management.— DayakDaily
