Kuching, Sarikei, Mukah, Limbang among districts expected to experience heavy rain (May 27)

KUCHING, May 27: Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in Kuching, Sarikei, Meradong, Mukah, Tanjung Manis, Daro, Miri, Telang Usan, Marudi, and Limbang.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning for these areas in Sarawak. The warning, which was issued at 6.25pm today, will remain in effect until 9pm.

A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with a rain intensity greater than 20 mm/hour that is approaching or expected to last for more than an hour. — DayakDaily
