KUCHING, Feb 3: Kuching reported 13 new Covid-19 cases today as the district with the highest number of new daily cases in Sarawak which saw 20 cases overall.
According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement, Sibu reported three cases while Miri and Samarahan reported two each.
This brings the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the State to 252,881.
Of the 20 new cases, 15 are under Category 1 (no symptoms), while the remaining five are under Category 2 (mild symptoms).
No new Covid-19 related deaths or clusters were reported today.
Meanwhile, the police issued 11 compounds in the most recent 24-hour period for failing to scan the MySejahtera QR code or manually registering attendance when entering a premises. — DayakDaily
