KUCHING, June 28: A man in his 20s was injured after his car turned turtle after he failed to overtake another car at Jalan Pristana Demak here last night.
The incident which happened at 9pm involved two cars travelling in the same direction.
According to a statement from Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, one of the cars hit the car in front during an attempt to overtake and the impact caused it to turn turtle in the middle of the road.
As a result, the driver of the overtaking car was injured but no one in the other car was reported injured. The injured man was later rushed to a hospital for immediate treatment.
