Kuching accounts for over half of 11 new Covid-19 cases in Sarawak today

KUCHING, Jan 28: Kuching has accounted for six new Covid-19 cases, which is over half of 11 cases reported in Sarawak today.

According to Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) reports today, Miri and Bau reported two new cases each while Kapit recorded one case.


This brings the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the State to 252,762.

Of the 11 cases, seven were under Category 1 (asymptomatic) and four other cases were under Category 2 with mild symptoms.

As of today, no new Covid-19 deaths or clusters were reported. — DayakDaily
