KUCHING, May 28: The Kubah Ria Complex in Petra Jaya will be temporarily closed on May 29 for sanitising works.
Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) in a press statement today said the temporary closure was aimed at disinfecting the complex as part of its Covid-19 prevention measures.
The complex will be reopened to the public on May 30 onwards and will resume its normal business hours.
SEDC general manager Abdul Hadi Abdul Kadir disclosed that the sanitising works are necessary in order to ensure the cleanliness, health and safety of the business operators, workers and customers at the complex.
“Every individual visiting Kubah Ria Complex is required to firstly register themselves with the MySejahtera app, undergo temperature checks and sanitise their hands before entering the complex in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.
“We would like to assure members of the public that every care will be taken to ensure the health and safety of our customers as well as tenants at Kubah Ria Complex which is one of the popular food and beverage outlets in Petra Jaya,” he said in a statement.
Abdul Hadi also encouraged everyone including customers to comply and strictly adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set by relevant authorities including Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), Ministry of Health (MoH) and State Health Department during their visits to the complex. — DayakDaily
