An additional RM20,000 was allocated to support the school’s educational programs and activities, including the Primary Six graduation ceremony held earlier.

Speaking at the event, Yap highlighted Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) commitment to meritocracy in education, describing it as vital for building a highly skilled workforce.

“This will undoubtedly be a key factor in attracting both foreign and domestic investments into Sarawak’s key sectors.

“With better job opportunities provided through these investments, Sarawak can retain its best brains in all fields,” he said.

Yap also emphasised that for Sarawak to advance towards becoming a developed State, meritocracy is essential.

“It is the only way to train talents and pick the best of the best among our students, and GPS walks the talk,” he added. – DayakDaily
