MIRI, April 22: A kitten was rescued from a hole in a lamp post near Miri Airport this morning.
A team of three from Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) rushed to the location in response to an alert at 7.45am.
It took them less than 10 minutes to extract the kitten safely from the hole.
Earlier that morning, a 39-year-old woman was strolling in the area when she heard meowing sounds. It was then the trapped kitten was discovered.
It is not immediately known how the kitten ended up inside the hole. — DayakDaily
