Kg Tabuan Haji Drahman, Kuching among eight localities under EMCO

KUCHING, June 13: Kampung Tabuan Haji Drahman here is among the eight localities designated to undergone Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).

According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in a press statement today, the EMCO in Kampung Tabuan Drahman would start from tomorrow (June 14) until June 28, 2021.

In Bintulu, the EMCO is implemented in three localities, namely in Rh. Belayong anak Buang in KM22 Bintulu-Tatau road, Rh. Fabian Jembu Tangi in Sg Setiam, KM37 Kuala Tatau coastal road, and Rh. Chali anak Ugok in Batu 17, Bintulu-Miri road.

The EMCO in all three localities in Bintulu was implemented from yesterday (June 12), until June 25, 2021.

In Tatau, three localities were also being imposed with the EMCO to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The three areas are in Kampung Dagang, Rh. Enpawi anak Seriban and Rh. Itam anak Ujok, both in Sungai Kelawit, Tatau-Sibu road, from June 12 until June 25, 2021.

One other locality being imposed with the EMCO is in Pakan, namely Rh. Umang, Jamit, in Ulu Nunggang, which starts today (June 13) until June 29, 2021.

On the same note, SDMC also announced the end of EMCO implemented in Almabumi Plantation Sdn Bhd quarters in Ladang Bukit, Ulu Sebauh Bintulu (June 12, 2021), rented house above DD Mart in Sungai Plan, Bintulu (June 12, 2021), and in Rh. Daisy in Skim B, Bintangor in Sarikei (June 14, 2021). — DayakDaily
