Kg Pichin, Kuhum and Tesu Kura leaders, JKKKs urged to ensure villagers comply with SOPs

KUCHING, June 3: Community leaders, village chiefs and Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) in Kampung Pichin, Kuhum and Tesu Kura are urged to monitor their respective village to ensure that the Movement Control Order (MCO) standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being complied with.

According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) report today (June 3), a roadblock manned by People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) members is also being deployed in the area to monitor and control incoming and outgoing movement of people.

At the same time, banners have also been put up at strategic locations in these villages as warnings and to remind people to take precautionary measures.
