KUCHING, Nov 14: Kampung Mempelam and Rh Bangau residents in Miri can look forward to having clean water supply following the completion of a 2.1km-long pipe installation by March 2023.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, Senadin assemblyman Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin revealed work on the project which costs RM449,500, started on Nov 7 and is expected to be completed by March 6 next year.
He told this to reporters when visiting the construction site during a ‘Majlis Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat’ held in Miri, on Saturday (Nov 12).
Meanwhile, during the event, Lee also called on the locals to support Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate for P219 Miri Jeffrey Phang Siaw Foong.
He said this would ensure the government can provide continuous and stable development, especially in suburban areas. — DayakDaily
