KUCHING, Dec 9: The eagerly awaited annual Chinese New Year festive sales bazaar is set to return to Kenyalang Park Commercial Centre from Jan 26 to Feb 9 next year.
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng announced that individuals interested in securing a trading spot can start applying by obtaining the forms from the One Stop Service Counter 9 at the Council’s headquarters lobby from Dec 11 to 29.
“All application forms must be submitted to the MBKS One Stop Service Counter D on or before 4pm of Dec 29, 2023.
“Late applications will not be entertained,” he said during his ShallWeeTalk online session today.
For each stall measuring 4 feet by 8 feet, there will be a fee of RM110 for the public and RM60 for shop owners or tenants for two spaces either in front or beside their shops.
It is important to note that the Council retains the right to cancel the sales bazaar if directed by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee due to circumstances necessitating its cancellation.
“We welcome entrepreneurs to participate in the bazaar actively. We encourage entrepreneurs to showcase diverse new and creative products,” he said. — DayakDaily
