KDPAHA students to represent country at international maths olympiad competition

KUCHING, July 4: Ten students from Kolej Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Abdillah (KDPAHA) in Kuching will represent Team Malaysia in the Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad Competition (SIMOC) 2018 on July 7.

The students who are from Form Two, Three and Five accompanied by their teachers paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office this afternoon in the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Complex in Petra Jaya.

During the visit, Abang Johari presented the team with the national and state colours and a sponsorship grant of RM15,000.


The competition is an annual event with participation from countries all across Asia. — DayakDaily
