KUCHING, Oct 25: Would you dare to try some spooky and creepy food for a challenge this Halloween?
As the festival that celebrates the souls of the dead approaches, Kantin at The Granary has unveiled a playful culinary creation that’s sure to thrill cat lovers and adventurous eaters alike: the Halloween Treat dessert, whimsically crafted to resemble cat poop and litter.
This eye-catching dessert set, designed for two to three people, is a playful homage to our beloved feline friends, bringing joy and laughter to the season.
Available from Oct 19 to Nov 3, this quirky dessert will be served daily from 10am to 10pm.
Priced at RM25, each dessert set features a delightful combination of biscuit crumbles and Hong Kong peanuts, cleverly disguised as cat litter, topped off with chocolate brownie “poop” for an extra touch of authenticity.
Not only is this dessert a feast for the eyes, but it also humorously challenges customers to embrace the Halloween spirit by scooping up the “poop” treats with a smile.
Behind this playful culinary experience is Rio, the resident feline and guest chef at Kantin at The Granary, with assistance from Blacky, the adorably lazy cat who often graces the premises.
