KUCHING, Dec 22: With the rise in Covid-19 cases in recent weeks, 400 boxes of face masks were generously donated to the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) from Kang Chen Company (Malaysia) to distribute to the public.
In a press statement today, MBKS mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng expressed his appreciation upon receiving the face mask from the company’s managing director, Lynna Lim Siew Chung, in his office today.
Wee said the donation of the face mask would play a significant role in supporting MBKS initiatives in prioritising public health and safety measures.
“MBKS extends its sincere gratitude again to the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments in preventing the spread of Covid-19,” he said. — DayakDaily
