Covid-19: Julau turns red zone after registering 42 cases in last 2 weeks

KUCHING, Feb 12: Today, Julau District has changed its status from orange to red zone after recording a total of 42 cases of new Covid-19 local infections reported in the last 14 days.

According to a statement from State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today, Selangau district, on the other hand, has returned to yellow status from orange, after recording only 20 cases of local infection in the last 14 days.

Subis, Lundu, Beluru, Kapit, Song, Dalat, Bintulu, Kanowit, Miri and Sibu districts remain in red status with a total of 1,837 local infection cases reported in ten of these districts in the last 14 days.

Sri Aman, Matu and Bau districts also remain orange status with 90 cases of local infection reported in three of these districts in the last 14 days.

Kuching, Samarahan, Betong, Saratok, Sarikei, Daro, Sebauh, Lawas, Bukit Mabong, Tatau, Pakan, Serian, Belaga and Meradong districts remain yellow with a total of 110 cases of local infections reported in the past 14 days.

Eleven other districts remain in green status. — DayakDaily
