JPJ training sector, driving test to resume operation on June 1

KUCHING, May 29: The Malaysia Road Transport Department (JPJ) training and the driving test sector operation will be reopened starting June 1, 2020.

The department in a statement today, said that the driving institute and driver licensing process operation will be implemented under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, which start from 8am until 4pm.

“Among the services that will resume include the driving education curriculum (KPP) 01, 02 and 03, qualifying test at institutes (QTI), circuits and roads theory and practical tests, and computerised traffic rules test at the certified centers recognised by the department,” it said.

The department also reminded the public to always follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) set, in line with the regulations set by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the National Security Council (MKN).

“The public who come for the services are must comply with any instructions issued, including practicing the new norm such as wearing face mask, 1-meter social distancing, and keeping their hands clean by washing it with soap or hand sanitisers,” the statement read.—DayakDaily
