KUCHING, March 27: Pope Francis will lead a prayer, Eucharistic adoration and impart blessing “urbi et orbi” (to the city and the world) with a plenary indulgence at 6pm, Rome time, said Archbishop Simon Poh.
As such, he is inviting Catholics to go online in order to be in communion with the pontiff.
The special prayer (extraordinary blessing) is held in response to the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
“May you receive Apostolic Blessing from Pope Francis in Malaysia on Saturday, March 28 at 1am, which is 6pm, Friday (March 27), in Rome,” he told DayakDaily.

On another note, Poh revealed he has been tested negative of Covid-19 after he was instructed to be quarantined following a close contact with a person tested positive for Covid-9 on March 13.
“Let us pray for protection of our medical personnel, these unsung heroes on the front lines, who are quietly doing their duties to keep us all safe.
“While medical personnel work for us, we stay at home to flatten the Covid-19 infection curve so that we can contain the outbreak,” he advised. — DayakDaily
