KUCHING, Dec 2: Jalan Tun Jugah here will be temporarily closed for 15 days starting from tomorrow (Dec 3) until Dec 17, 2021.
In a statement today, the Public Works Department (JKR) said the temporary closure which begins from 8pm until 5am throughout the period is to enable heavy machinery operators to carry out their work at the site.
The department assured the public that the road will be reopened as soon as possible if the maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule, to facilitate traffic movement.
As such, road users are advised to follow the signage provided, cooperate with the traffic controller in the area and plan their travel routes throughout the closure period.
