MIRI, Feb 12: A 46-year-old woman suffered bodily injury in a hit-and-run accident near the Boulevard pedestrian bridge here last night.
Passers-by alerted the hospital, which duly sent an ambulance over.
The vehicle that hit her has yet to be identified.
State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said the accident happened at about 8.09pm when the victim jaywalked instead of the using the bridge. — DayakDaily
